hey friends!

i just found out today from The New Yorker about these rosé strawberries from Driscoll, but can i just remind everyone about the OG light-pink strawberries, aka the ones from Japan?

I’m just so intrigued by these fruits! The Driscoll ones are apparently bred through non-GMO techniques, and taste sweeter than regular strawberries. there’s even a raspberry version to this berry!
So American friends, if you ever get to try this interesting berry, let me know! I would love to know whether this berry really (or, attempts to) tastes like rosé.
have a good one, y’all!
